Residency Program

The Clinic of Diagnostic Imaging of the Vetsuisse Faculty of Zurich is offering a three-year residency position to give advanced training in diagnostic imaging and aims to prepare the resident for board-certification by the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). The Clinic of Diagnostic Imaging supports other internal clinics of small and large animals (equine and farm animals) as well as the clinic for zoo animals, exotics and wildlife.

Training takes place in all sectors with emphasis on clinical radiology, ultrasonography, CT and MRI. Clinical rounds and journal club, interdepartmental rounds, participation in the 24h clinic service rotation, individual research projects and academic course work supplement learning. Rotations at other institutions/universities are part of the programme.
